Q: It says there are team spots available, but a waitlist for free agents. Why can't I sign up?
There are a limited number of free agent spots at first, but we always get more in off the wait list as the roster starts to get finalized. We've always managed to get almost every free agent in off the list, so please join the waitlist and know that your chances are exceptionally good that we'll fit you in!
Q: Is everyone playing on Thursday?
Curling starts on Thursday this year! Half of the Open division and all of the beginner's division will have games during the day on Thursday, so please plan accordingly. Open division only: There are a limited number of teams that can play later draws (Thursday night to Friday morning), but we can't accommodate all requests for late starts. Don't forget that July 4 is the holiday!
Q: I have a partial team- how do I sign up?
If you have two players wanting to play together, please sign up as two free agents, and send us an email letting us know you want to play together. If you have three players, please sign up for a full team slot, and let us know you need a free agent, and we will either refund you the money for one spot, or give you a person that can pay you directly.
Q: Is the beginners division separate from the open division? Could I play in both?
They are separate, but unlike last year, they will play on the same rink during the same draws (For example, Draw 3 might include two Open division games and three Beginner division games). It is likely that there could be conflicts between the two divisions where you would be required to be on the ice in two games at the same time, so we don't recommend signing up for both. If you're looking for more ice time, we always need subs to jump in at the last minute, and can often find you the opportunity to play more games.
New this year: We are no longer accepting offline payments (checks or cash) for registration. We have waived our processing fees in an attempt to collect all money online. Your spot will not be confirmed until payment is received, and unpaid team spots will be given away to waitlist teams.
