Do you have a group, and want to book a sheet of ice just for yourselves? We'll provide the equipment, instruction, and a guaranteed great time! This is a great option for groups that want a semi-private experience, but don't want to pay for private ice time, or can't find private ice time that works with their schedule. 12 people for $600, or add a few more, up to 16 people max.
There will be other activities happening on the ice while you're out there, but we'll dedicate an entire sheet (think of a bowling lane) just for your group. And with so many bars and restaurants nearby, Pasadena is the perfect place to plan your Friday night party.
How long will we be on the ice?
We schedule our groups for two hours, just like our learn-to-curl classes. We find this is the perfect amount of time to learn the basics, practice throwing stones, and play a mini-game (without being too cold!)
What should we wear?
Dress in warm layers. WARM SOCKS, and shoes with good grip are a must (Sneakers work best, but avoid leather soles, or thin soles like Converse, Toms, etc...). Pants that have some stretch so you can lunge. Gloves and hats are optional. It can be cold on the ice, so dressing in layers is highly recommended.
How many people can I bring to my event?
No more than 16 per sheet. The fewer people, the faster the instruction, and the sooner you can get to playing a game.
Do you provide food or beverage?
Unfortunately, Pasadena Ice Skating Center does not have food and beverage facilities. However, it is walking distance to dozens of bars and restaurants in the area, you're sure to find something to suit your taste.
Minimum 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking. All funds remaining are due 14 days from the event. No refunds within 14 days of event start.
YOUTH: We require that participants under the age of 12 provide their own helmets, which must be worn at all times when on the ice. 12+ helmets are recommended, but it is ultimately up to parental discretion. All minors will require parental or guardian consent at the first night of league.
